The wind sings me a lullaby
Of sweet songs of peace
As the night freezes over
I cuddle in a blanket of dreams

I have so many words unspoken
So many stories unshared
I have a need to talk
But none close enough to hear

The wind listens with its unseen ears
It may not have answers
But its listening unburdens me
As it rustles forth to wipe my tears

It has travelled afar
Across high turfs and strong whitecaps
From seats of the high mountains
it brings forth peace saying,
“Don’t worry my child,
You’re not alone
There are many more like you,
Just hold on to!”
